A Warm Welcome!
Welcome to the 2022 school year.
The Parent Partnership Forum is a committed group of parents and staff who strive for the very best for the College. We are here to support the College and align ourselves with the 5 College Improvement Pillars: Mission and Identity, Teaching and Learning, Wellbeing, Resources and Relationships.
We understand these are very difficult times for our College community. We certainly did not want to start the year like this again.
The PPF were hoping we could come together and celebrate the start of the year with a Welcome BBQ and Movie Night for our College families and staff. This was going to be a lovely event to connect and commence the start the year. Clearly due to restrictions we are unable to hold this event. So, we are sending you this warm welcome message to wish everyone a great start to the year. We wish all new and existing families the very best of success at the College for 2022.
We send our best wishes also to all the Year 11 and 12 students who have commenced their learning online this week. The College has done an amazing job ensuring that these students have hit the ground running with their programs.
The struggles and anxiety everyone is feeling currently are extraordinary and we want everyone to know we are here for support. Please reach out to family, friends and neighbours to check in with them and make sure they are doing ok. Be kind to yourself and trust that you are doing the best you can at the moment, given the current circumstances.
The PPF will do our very best again this year to support the College teaching, support and administration staff and Father Brian, to provide the very best for our students’ wellbeing and academic, creative and sporting excellence for 2022.
If you wish to reach out the PPF or you have any matters you wish to raise for the start of the year, please send through to the PPF email higppf@twb.catholic.edu.au and we can add any items to our first meeting of the year which is planned for 22 February.
Please look after yourself and your families and we wish you all the very best for the start of 2022. We wish everyone well.
Take care and stay safe
